A Walk Through Our Hyderabad Store: What Makes It Special

Known as the city of Nawabs Hyderabad is a land of culture, heritage, and royalty. From the tastes of south India to hints of Maharashtra, the light breeze of the coasts to the architecture of the Mughals, the city has it all. The capital of Telangana is one of the largest cities in the country. It caught our eye in January 2023, the time when we decided to open our 4th flagship store. Keeping their rich legacy of 102 years alive, we at OBEETEE CARPETS have been weaving brilliance for over a century. This store in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad is an integral part of that. 

Designed by Design 21, the store follows a ‘level to level’ setting, exuding charm like no other. Driven by excellence and quality service, our team tries their best to give the customer an experience like never before. From personal interaction to delivering custom orders, from home trials to exceptional after-sale services, our team is driven by customer satisfaction. Focusing on creating a narrative, the interior is planned to give the customer a wholesome yet personalized vibe.

The design-

Bringing our vision to life, professionals at Design 21 did a marvelous job. With some hard work and our carpets, a mere duplex-looking commercial space was transformed into a customer-driven showroom. You are greeted by a huge glass door at the entrance, followed by a carpet loom. As you walk up the steps,  you will spot furniture and carpets spread across the area. With cushions placed on shelves and carpets hung on stands, one shall experience a museum appeal. As we move further into this realm of design, art is reflected through the transitional furnishings and light fixtures. The walls of the store are covered with neutral tones against which the colors of the carpet draw the attention of the customers, making the intricacies of the carpets stand out. The furniture placed in solid tones adds extra comfort to the homeowners and designers who visit to catch a glimpse of the store and the exquisite rugs displayed in it. The brass patina on the walls reflects the carpet's life, beautifying further with age.

Technology-

With the furnishings and fittings of the best quality along with a surround music system, the store exudes vibes like a studio. Though the switches might look vintage, that’s the catch about the space. 

Carpets-

Carpets were initially used by the royalty. The Mughals brought this art to our country. It would’ve been unfair if we had not opened a store here. In our collection, we have rugs of every category. From hand-knotted to hand-tufted, printed to handloom options, we have something from everyone. Once you step into the store, we believe that you will find what you are looking for. Carpets and cushions designed by Tarun Tahiliani, Ashdeen, Anita Dalmia, Anju Modi, Shripal Munshi, and many other designers can be found in the collection here. 

Nothing less than a paradise, our Hyderabad store was one of the 1st ones in south India. While we have a carpet store in Bangalore as well, this store in Jubilee Hills never fails to deliver. From customer satisfaction to on-time delivery, our team ensures that no customer is left unsatisfied.
